Walk for Muscular Dystrophy

I suspect many of you know who Josh Edwards is. He is among the first instructors at YYC Net Lab. He gave up his evenings and weekends to help students learn the CCNA and A+ material.  He was instrumental in the Women in Technology program.  Without him these things would not have happened.

He never asked for payment. He never even asked for a favour in return.

That’s Josh. He’s always there to help.

Whenever I have needed something Josh has delivered. Often he has pulled in help from those around him to lend extra support.

Today I received an email from Josh saying that he was looking for support. This is the first time I’ve ever seen such a request from him. He’s participating in the 2020 Walk for Muscular Dystrophy. He’s not even looking for help for himself – he’s looking to help other people. Again.

Josh is seriously and serially selfless.

Josh personifies the best of what we can be.

If you want to encourage this behaviour; donate.

If Josh has ever helped you; donate.

There are enough of us that know the strength of his character. Together we can obliterate the goal he has set.

So, please, help Josh help other people.
